A New Weekly Topic coming soon....

In the spirit of my New Life Plan 2009, I have created my Food 4 Thought Friday post. Every Friday when I make my menu plan for the upcoming week, I am going to post it here. All my recipes will be in one spot for me, I can pull them up on my Blackberry when I'm out at the grocery store instead of making 3 separate trips cause I forgot my list and then couldn't remember all the ingredients that I needed. Sigh... And hopefully some of you will find some new recipes to try out for your family. I'll warn you in advance though- I like fast and easy recipes. Typically, if the recipe calls for more than 5 or 6 ingredients, it just ain't gonna happen at my house.

I have a gazillion recipes saved on my computer from various sources so it will be impossible for me to link credit to each individual website or person that I blogjacked the recipe from. All recipes have already been tried and approved by my family of ravenous hungry animals. All new recipes will be noted as NEW and if they suck, I'll let you know cause my kids will let me know for sure!

I've had several people email to ask me why I'm changing the blog from a strictly foster care story from the past into a more family blog. I used to have 2 blogs- this one and a family one. I just cannot keep up with both anymore. This blog is more important to me so I want to keep this one going. I am still going to tell our whole foster care/adoption story but I'm also going to mix it up a little and add current stuff that happens in our family, new weekly topics, etc. This is my outlet, my journal and my creation. So there will be some changes coming in the next few weeks as I start updating the blog. I also have to come up with some pseudonyms for my 4 kids so I can post about them more.

So stay tuned....lots more stuff is coming for 2009!
