We celebrated 2 birthdays in November. The first was The Tween, he turned 10! I cannot believe he is TEN years old. He dutifully posed for his annual birthday picture before school with a minimal display of eye rolling and sighing.
During the day I dropped off cupcakes at his school for him to share with his friends after lunch since he didn't have a big party this year. We let the kids choose dinner on the night of their birthday's. The Tween chose to eat at Tex.as Road.house. Before we went, we let him open his gifts and I was able to capture some of his hilarious facial expressions.
The Tween had a huge birthday brownie at the restaurant and all the pretty waitresses sung to him so he was in heaven. Ha! After dinner, we stopped off at the mall so he could use his gift card to buy himself a couple of video games from the used game store.
He had a good day but he said his favorite part was getting his bedtime extended by half an hour. Ha! I could have saved $25 and just given him a later bedtime as a gift. I'll remember that for next year.

The tween is growing so fast. Very cute kiddo!
